30 sovereigns of jewellery stolen

As many as 30 sovereigns of gold jewels were stolen from Rajadurai's house, a travels operator.

Rajadurai decided to shift his family to Chennai and took his wife and mother to the city a few days ago. While he was away, his neighbours finding the door of his house in Nallathanni Kulam Street in Desur ajar grew suspicious and called him.

Rajadurai rushed back home and found his house broken into. He saw his belongings strewn all over the the house and his jewellery missing. Desur police have booked a case and are investigating.
