Photo Journal: Rio colors in Tokyo

A picture of the "Christ the Redeemer" statue, a landmark of Rio de Janeiro, is seen painted as a mural in a colorful mosaic pattern on the rooftop of the Seibu department store's flagship Ikebukuro store in Tokyo's Toshima Ward. The 56-meter-by-11-meter masterpiece painted by Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra appeared on the rooftop patio where some 1.4 million people stop by annually. The colorful Jesus looking down on Copacabana Beach was completed on June 15, putting visitors in the mood for the Rio Olympics. (Mainichi)
