Indore: A railway employee was found murdered at his quarters in Ratlam on Wednesday morning. The body had severe head injuries. According to GRP officials, Arjun Singh Devda, 40, posted as a driver in the diesel shed of railways was found in a pool of blood in his official quarters at Old Railway Colony. Arjun's body was found by his brother Bhagwan Singh on Wednesday morning when he had gone to meet him.

While speaking to the local media, he claimed Arjun used to live at the quarters along with his wife, mother, grandmother and three children. He had a scuffle with his wife and had thrashed her a few days ago after which she along with her mother-in-law and children left the house. They had gone to live with their relatives. On Tuesday night, Arjun was seen by his neighbours while he was speaking on his phone around 10:00 pm after which he was not spotted by anyone. "I had gone to meet Arjun in the morning to talk to him about his wife and children and force him to bring them back from the relatives' place. I, however, found him lying on the bed in the drawing room in a pool of blood.
The house was ransacked and the almirahs and cupboards were also open," said Bhagwan Singh while speaking to media persons in Ratlam.
According to police, he must have been murdered during the late hours on Tuesday. He had received fatal injuries on his head, they said. A case of murder has been registered and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
