Get ready, sci-fi fans.

The Robinson family will get Lost in Space again.

Streaming service Netflix announced Wednesday that it has ordered a 10-episode first season of the one-hour drama based on Irwin Allen's popular 1960's classic.

The updated version, with writing duo Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless (Dracula Untold, Last Witch Hunter) and showrunner Zack Estrin (Prison Break), is set to make its debut in 2018.

There is no word on casting for the reboot from Legendary TV. The Netflix announcement said the show will take its cues from the original series and revolve around the Robinson family, who end up stranded in a strange new alien world as they deal with their own personal drama. Guy Williams and June Lockhart starred in the original Lost in Space.

“The original series so deftly captured both drama and comedy, and that made it very appealing to a broad audience. The current creative team’s reimagining of the series for Netflix is sure to appeal to both fans who fondly remember the original and to create a new generation of enthusiasts around the world,” Netflix head of original content Cindy Holland said in a statement.
