So far, 26 persons have been arrested in the scam.
Meanwhile, AAP am Aadmi Party (AAP) demanded the arrested of Shiromani Akali Dal's Muktsar unit president, Dyal Singh Kolianwali, on Wednesday and that the probe into the scam be monitored by the Punjab and Haryana high court. AAP MP Bhagwant Mann alleged, "Mere arrest of Akali councillor Sham Lal is not enough as Kolianwali is behind the scam. He should also be arrested. Sham could not have run the job racket on his own, without the backing and support of Kolianwali. So, unless Kolianwali he is arrested and made to join the investigations, the probe by the vigilance bureau will not go too far and bring the actual culprits to justice." Nothing can be said till the completion of the search."
