Kanwaljeet Singh, a daily-wager suffering from heart ailment, who migrated here from Delhi after the 1984 riots, is still waiting for justice.
Singh’s plight was reported in these columns two years back still no relief has come his way.
A resident of Shiv Colony, he approached the officials concerned several times but to no avail.
He had written to the Prime Minister’s Office many times earlier. In January 2016, he received a letter from the PMO, in which the Chief Secretary, Haryana, had been asked to take appropriate action, but no relief came his way.
He has once again urged PM Narendra Modi and CM Manohar Lal Khattar to compensate him.
