Lauren Graham announces all 'Gilmore Girls' episodes available on Netflix July 1

LOS ANGELES, June 29 (UPI) -- Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham, who will appear later this year on a new movie series based on the television show, announced on YouTube Wednesday that starting July 1, all Gilmore Girl episodes will be available on Netflix.

"Any place you can watch Netflix, you can watch Gilmore Girls," she says, after holding up placards with the names of countries around the world. "You may have heard that new episodes of Gilmore Girls are coming to Netflix later this year, and we can't wait.

"Welcome to Stars Hollow," she goes on. "Careful, we talk fast."

The new series will be made up of four 90-minute movies.

Earlier this week, Netflix released a new teaser for the upcoming movie series in which Rory Gilmore, played by Alexis Bledel, chats with first lady Michelle Obama over which book to choose for an upcoming trip to Liberia.

Graham announced the title for the movie - Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life - earlier this month.

Melissa McCarthy, who launched her acting career on Gilmore Girls, is returning for the new movie series. Others coming back for the limited series reunion include Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki, and Matt Czuchry.
