Patrick Garcia or Jake Roxas? Paolo Ballesteros transforms into '90s heartthrob for indie film

Aside from playing a transgender woman, Paolo Ballesteros' latest indie film will see him tranforming into a '90s heartthrob.

The "Make Up Transformation King" worked his usual magic, this time flaunting a 90's hairdo for his upcoming independent film, "Die Beautiful."

That led him to joke that he looked sort of like '90s matinee idols Patrick Garcia and Jake Roxas for the film.

Paolo will be playing the role of a transgender woman in the movie, which helmed by Director Jun Robles Lana.

In his Instagram account, Paolo posted a series of photos where he is seen sporting his new do.

In one photo he compared his look to that of Jake Roxas'. In another, he listed multiple personalities that may be his look alike, leading with actor Patrick Garcia.

The comedy-drama indie film "Die Beautiful" will tell the story of a trans-woman who wishes to be buried as Lady Gaga.

It has already been selected by the Hong Kong Asian Film Financing Forum for funding assistance, to be co-produced by APT Entertainment. —Jessica Bartolome/JST, GMA News
