IMC likely to contest 50 seats in UP polls

Bareilly, Jun 29 (UNI) Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC), a political outfit led by influential Barelvi cleric Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, will contest the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections from nearly 50 seats falling under Bareilly and Moradabad divisions.
The cleric today said that the names of candidates for the first phase will be declared by July end.
The cleric informed the media that as their organisation lacks proper resources unlike other political parties, hence have decided to contest UP assembly elections from nearly 50 seats, falling under Bareilly and Moradabad divisions.
