YSR Congress Party decided to highlight ‘failures’ of the TDP government by meeting people directly from July 8 in 38 mandals of Srikakulam district. With the directive from the party, the district leadership will take up ‘Gadapa Gadapaku YSR Congress’ programme and explain the backwardness of the Srikakulam district, migration problem, lack of employment opportunities for the youngsters and closure of students’ hostels and schools.

Party district president Reddi Shanti alleged that the district continued to be in the backward category with the failure of the government in developing it.

She said that the party cadre had geared up to actively participate in the programme.
