Kavita Kaushik is unhappy with her TV show 'Dr Bhanumati On Duty'

Kavita Kaushik was excited about her new show 'Dr Bhanumati On Duty', which she said would be different and see her in an all new avatar. But Kavita, we hear, is unhappy with the show and has even conveyed her displeasure to the production house. Apparently, the actress feels 'Dr Bhanumati On Duty' is trying to ape her previous long-running show 'FIR', in which she played the popular Inspector Chandramukhi Chautala.A source informed, “Kavita’s character was supposed to have action scenes and a lot of newer elements. That hasn’t happened yet. Also, some of the dialogues seem to be copied from 'FIR'.”

When we spoke to Kavita about this, she admitted that 'Bhanumati...' hadn’t turned out the way she had expected it to. She said, “A new story and well-defined characterisation would have made this a good show. I had high expectations; I’m very disappointed with the writing and content, but I’ve not lost faith in the producers and their ability to still turn it around.” So, don’t be surprised if you see a few changes in the show in the days to come. Dr Bhanumati is not willing to settle for less.
