Comparison to VLC Media Player 

The problem the Free Media Player will probably encounter is the fact it's not going to be judged on its own merit. It will always be compared to other media player, most notably VLC Media Player. Now, as mentioned above, VLC Media Player is widely regarded as the best media player in the market today. It's efficient and has a lot of useful features. 

Honestly, whatever the Free Media Player can do,  VLC can probably do better. VLC also a lot of features that the Free Media Player doesn't have like fast forward and reduce speed. VLC also has advanced settings like subtitle positioning, video grain effects, and more. It's also free so there's no reason not to get it if you're in need of a player. 

Good Enough If You Can't Get Anything Else

Ultimately, the Free Media Player is a serviceable software that will fulfill your need to play video and audio files. That said, there's no reason to get this over a better media player like VLC. It's very likely that you're going to need a feature that the Free Media Player doesn't have, so you might as well go for others now.
