Lieutenant General Shokin Chauhan visits Red Eagle Div
Allahabad: The two day visit of the General Officer Commanding (GOC), Strike 1, Lieutenant General Shokin Chauhan, at the Red Eagle Division commenced on Tuesday. The GOC was briefed on the operational as well as administrative aspects by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Red Eagle Division, Major General Ashim Kohli, at the divisional headquarters.
The corps commander took stock of operational preparedness of the division and appreciated measures undertaken by the army in Allahabad to improve operational readiness and training of the formation.
He also interacted with the soldiers of Red Eagle Division in which he emphasised on maintaining high standards of professional competence and realistic training of all ranks.
He also appreciated the efforts made to improve the quality of life of soldiers as well as their families. Later he had an informal meeting with top civil officials of few departments located in Allahabad and expressed his satisfaction over the manner in which good co-ordination is being maintained by army with all civil departments in Allahabad.
