Aman Verma criticises No.1 TV show 'Naagin' , says special effects were poor

New Delhi: Arjun Bijlani and Mouni Roy starrer Naagin may remained unbeatable on the TRP charts but popular actor Aman Verma  recently took a dig at the show, over its special effects which according to him were poor. When leading entertainment website Tellychakakr buzzed the actor if the small screen has evolved over the years he said, “TV has grown in terms of reach and production, but it hasn't evolved. The kind of shows that are aired on TV right now are not worth a single watch. On top of it, you hear news about Naagin and bhoots on TV.” “One day I happened to watch Naagin and I came across a scene where naagins were having a fight with a Nevla. The special effects were poor. And that supposedly was a number one show. This is what people want to watch and I can’t stop them. I would like to add that I have done a show Supercops vs Super Villains where we had dinosaurs and other stuff but the special effects were much better and it was shot in a different way. But at the end, it’s all about money and TRPs. I choose shows, which are constructive and help me to grown as an actor.” Aman added. Supernatural drama “Naagin” is set to be back on the TV screens with its second season this October. The Balaji Telefilms-produced finite series, which premiered in November last year, also starred Adaa Khan in the lead role.
