Fandry actor arrested on charges of burglary

Yogesh Chaudhary, an actor from the National Award winning film ���Fandry���, was arrested by the Pune police���s crime division in connection with a burglary case.
Chaudhary (19) has also acted in two short films titled ���Pratigya��� and ���Prism���. He claims to have been approached for the protagonist Jabya���s role in ���Fandry��� but features as one of the school kids in the film.
The police have also arrested Amol Kisan Awachare (19), Pratik Sanjay Waghmare (20), jewellers Bipin Balkrushn Kulkarni (39), Sagar Ashok Shahane (26) and two minors in connection with the case. It is believed that Chaudhary wanted to lead a lavish lifestyle and broke into a locked bungalow in the Parvati area of the city on June 10.

According to a report in The Golden Sparrow, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) PR Patil said that the accused used to visit Parvati area and broke into Chandan Bungalow when they found it was locked for a few days. The burglars had used a hacksaw blade to cut the window bars and enter the house.
The police have also recovered one kilogram of gold, half kilogram of silver ornaments and a Canon camera valued at Rs 19,00,000 from the accused, according to the report.
