He has come a long way from being a star kid to a show stealer. Be it his comic timing, his dramatic dialogue delivery or action sequences, Varun Dhawan does it all with ease. The star who was in Nagpur recently for the promotions of his upcoming film 'Dishoom' spoke about his perfectionist brother, lure of Marathi films and more.
Varun has worked in 'Main Tera Hero', a film directed by his father David Dhawan, and now in 'Dishoom' he is being directed his brother Rohit.
Ask him who is the bigger taskmaster of the two and pat comes the reply, 'Rohit's a tough nut to crack with the amount of retakes he demands and the perfection he wants in every shot. But then, any director you work with, you have to let him mould you according to his character.'

On his visit to the city, he won many hearts with his great energy and desi thumkas. But when he danced to the tunes of 'Jhale Zing Zing Zingaat' from the Marathi blockbuster 'Sairat' during a college event, the youngsters went berserk. He also made his co-stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez groove to this hit Marathi song. Interestingly the young actor lip-synced the entire lyrics to perfection while dancing.
Varun said: 'I'm extremely impressed with Nagraj Manjule's latest film.' When asked if he wishes to venture in Marathi industry, he replied: 'Why not! Marathi film industry is booming like anything now. Films like 'Sairat', 'Fandry' and 'Natsamrat' have made India proud and I would love to act in such Marathi films. There is a great synergy between Bollywood and Marathi film industry. In coming days, these two industries will become one and yes mala yete Marathi.'
