A behavioral training session for coolies was held at Rajkot station on Monday by the railway officials.

RAJKOT: A behavioral training session for coolies was held at Rajkot station on Monday by the Railway officials. This training session was led by R K Purohit, Assistant Commercial Manager (Coaching), Rajkot Division.
Speaking on the occasion, emphasized on the fact that coolies should remain more courteous in their dealing with passengers, should wear proper uniform with badge (billa), collect correct charges as per rule, avoid overcharging among others.

Also the coolies should ensure security of luggage by remaining present all the time. The coolies were also guided in this training session to use Foot over bridge or Pathway for change of platforms and not to cross tracks for avoiding accidents.
Senior Railway officials including Station Manager-Rajkot S C Gautam, Divisional Commercial Inspectors Mahesh Thakar and Bharat Sinhal also imparted valuable guidance to the coolies. In all, 16 coolies were present in this training session.
