Remove tainted ministers from the cabinet: Mayawati tells Samajwadi party

Launching a direct attack at the Samajwadi Party, BSP supremo Mayawati today said in UP the police is unsafe, and the rowdy people are safe. “If SP is serious about curbing crimes & maintaining law & order in state, first of all they should remove tainted ministers from their cabinet,” she said.

She even said that the situation in UP is so bad that the intervention of Centre & President is necesarry to maintain law and order in the state.

She further attacked Akhilesh Yadav-led SP govt and added, “SP might have ended its merger with Mukhtar Ansaris Quami Ekta Dal but they’ve politically benefited from this drama for upcoming polls”.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday expanded his cabinet for the seventh time, inducting three new faces and reinstating sacked minister Balram Yadav, while showing the door to cabinet minister Manoj Kumar Pandey.

Balram Yadav, who was dropped for facilitating merger of Quami Ekta Dal (QED) of gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari with the ruling Samajwadi Party, was re-inducted as cabinet minister.
