KSRTC, BMRC bag award

Bengaluru: Nagaraja Patanjali from Shivamogga, a yoga practitioner, has been guiding tourists and educating them about Karnataka's heritage for years. Satisfaction was writ large on his face on Monday evening when his efforts were recognized. Nagaraja was the only individual to be felicitated with the Karantaka Tourism Award.
The establishments which received the award include five hotels, a hospital, resort, homestay, forest reserve, tour operator and a tourism market initiative partner.
While KSRTC was given the certificate of appreciation for connecting people with places, BMRC was awarded for turning spots into crowd-pulling venues.
