Jay Z and Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke get nostalgic at anniversary bash

Jay Z surprised his Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke at a party commemorating the 20th anniversary of the rapper’s debut, “Reasonable Doubt.”

The bash was at Apt.4B, an LA pop-up shop modeled after the Marcy Houses apartment where Jay Z grew up in Brooklyn.

“Jay snuck in the back of the store and [stayed] for three hours,” said a spy. “He came in from Mexico and brought tons of bottles of Ace of Spades. He stood in the store for hours, drinking, talking [bleep], while fans shopped.” And, “It was very emotional. He was so giddy . . . as he looked at old photos and took in the space.”

DJ Khaled, Jermaine Dupri, Pusha T and Meek Mill were some who showed up to support Jay and Biggs.

We hear Beyoncé didn’t appear because she was in rehearsals for her BET Awards opening performance Sunday with Kendrick Lamar, a source said.
