Cycle rally taken out

Collector K. Veera Raghava Rao inaugurated and took part in a cycle rally to create awareness of saving fuel and benefits of using bicycles for commuting.

Students from various schools and colleges participated in large numbers in the event, organised by Tharunizhalgal Trust, an NGO. The rally, which started at the Collectorate, passed through Aavin Junction, K.K. Nagar, Raja Muthiah Hall and concluded at Gandhi Museum.

Conserving nature, taking measures to control global warming and averting road accidents were highlighted during the event.
