: After bifurcating the Cyberabad police commissionerate into east and west zones, the State Government on Monday appointed Naveen Chand as the Cyberabad West and Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat as the Cyberabad East commissioners.
The appointments were made through G. O. 1458, in which M. Stephen Ravindra, who was previously DIG Greyhounds, was posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad West. Similarly, T. V. Sashidar Reddy, was appointed as Joint Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad West.
Among other appointments, M. K. Singh, was transferred and posted as Additional Director, RBVRR TS Poice Academy.
He replaces D. Kalpana Nayak, who was posted as DIG (Law and Order) in the Director of General of Police (DGP) office.
The government also appointed V. V. Srinivasa as Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Hyderabad, cancelling the earlier appointment of officer Sandeep Shandilya.
