Man kills wife in full public view in Nalgonda district

Police said Narmada had earlier filed a case against Ramulu earlier for dowry harassment and domestic violence.

Hyderabad: A 27-year-old private school teacher was murdered by her husband in Nalgonda district on Monday evening. Police said the accused, K. Ramu, had escaped along with his two daughters.

One-Town circle inspector D. Bikshapathi identified the victim as K. Narmada who was working as a teacher at Arora School in Miryalaguda.

Police said Narmada had earlier filed a case against Ramulu earlier for dowry harassment and domestic violence. She had attempted suicide twice due to the harassment of her husband.

On Monday evening while she was returning home from school, Ramu attacked her at Nandipadu junction with a hammer. She sustained grievous head injuries and died on the spot. Police has registered a case and is investigating.
