REWARI: The police have booked Raju of Tripura and his brother-in-law, Lal Singh of Sehlang village, for kidnapping and raping a woman after keeping her hostage in Kosli town for two days.

The police have booked Raju of Tripura and his brother-in-law, Lal Singh of Sehlang village, for kidnapping and raping a woman after keeping her hostage in Kosli town for two days.

Sources said the victim had come to Delhi from Bihar in search of a job where she met Raju who took her to Kosli on the pretext of arranging a job for her. He kept her hostage in a room rented by Lal Singh and raped her. Lal Singh also came there and raped the victim, who later managed to call the police.

The police swiftly reached the room and rescued the victim but the accused managed to flee. —TNS
