JAMRUD: Elders from Kukikhel tribe decided to ban aerial firing as well as the use and sale of crackers and fireworks on Eidul Fitr in Jamrud. The decision was taken during a jirga held on Monday to maintain peace in the area. They urged the political administration to take stern action against those who violated the rules. The jirga was attended by elders, children and the youth. On the occasion, elders demanded the provincial government lift curfew from different places in the area to facilitate tribespeople.
