SOUTH African soccer giants Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Ferroviario de Maputo’s Zambian striker Lewis Macha for an undisclosed fee.
Chiefs announced the new signing at a Press briefing held yesterday with the Zambian leaving the Wedson Nyirenda coached side with a proud record of finishing  top scorer with 10 goals besides netting four times in the Mozambique pre-season Taşa Tournament before suffering  a knee injury.
He joined the Mozambique club from Zanaco in the 2013 soccer season and will wear shirt 19 at Chiefs.
And posting on their twitter page, the Amankhosi said that more players were expected to join the club and that with the 2016/17 Absa Premiership campaign on the horizon, the Amakhosi have revealed a whole host of new faces that they are hoping will help try and turnaround their misfortunes of the past season.
Macha was among the nine players that include Sbu Khumalo, Innocent Mkhabela, Edmore Chirambadare, Mitchell Katsvairo, Rama Mphahlele and Keagan Buchanan who have been recruited by Chiefs.
