Time Inc.’s(NYSE:TIME)PEOPLE en Español today announced that it will host its fifth annual festivalon October 15–16, during Hispanic Heritage Month, at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. The two-day event has become one of the most-anticipated celebrations of Hispanic culture in the country. Celebrating its 20th anniversary with the theme“ịÚnete a Nosotros!,” PEOPLE en Español will present international urban artist Daddy Yankee with its 20th Anniversary Award during the festival. Additional talent will be announced in the months ahead.

Festival PEOPLE en Español, which is free and open to the public, will feature interactive panel discussions, the hottest musical performances, intimate meet-and-greets with today’s top Hispanic celebrities, family-fun activities and more.Thefestivalwill host a half dozen events throughout the city. In addition, PEOPLE en Español will partner for the first time ever with the National Puerto Rican Day Parade to award one deserving student a college scholarship.
