Dakota Johnson Lunches With Jamie Dornan’s Wife Amid Dating Rumors
The romance rumors have been swirling ever since Dakota Johnson split from her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Matthew Hitt. Now, it seems like the media and the fans want her to rebound quickly like other stars have done in recent weeks.
However, Dakota Johnson has been laying low as she currently films Fifty Shades Darker in Vancouver, Canada. The actress daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson was spotted walking while chatting on her phone right before she grabbed lunch on Saturday, June 25. Dakota, 26, met up with Fifty Shades co-star Jamie Dornan’s wife, Amelia Warner. It’s good to know that they are such good friends since Dakota plays the love interest to Jamie’s character, Christian Grey.

The brunette beauty was photographed wearing a fuzzy black sweater and light denim jeans with light brown flats. Dakota styled her brown tresses into a low ponytail, and she topped off her look with a black handbag over her shoulder. She’s been busy filming both Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed back-to-back, which may have contributed to their split.
Earlier this month, according to JustJared, Johnson broke it off with the lead singer and guitarist for The Drowners.
“Dakota and Matthew have dated on-and-off for the past two years. They didn’t get a chance to see much of each other recently because their work schedules didn’t align. She’s been up in Vancouver shooting the Fifty Shades trilogy.”
The couple first confirmed their relationship in July 2014 and then split in early 2015 before briefly getting back together a few months later. Since then, Johnson has become the center of her own romance rumors. It seems that a certain Hollywood actor has had his eye on the rising star.
It’s also been rumored that she’s been seeing her other on-again and off-again boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal. According to the Belfast Telegraph, Dakota and Jake have been making the romance rumors swirl once again. The couple first called it quits because the actor was a huge commitment-phobe.
“Even though it was just a fling, Dakota had really strong feelings for him so when he dumped her out of the blue, she was really shocked. But it was all because Jake freaked out, as he’s a bit of a commitment-phobe.”
Other reports said that Gyllenhaal ended their relationship with Johnson was falling for him, and their relationship and split happened so fast that it left her in a state of shock. Although Johnson’s relationship with Gyllenhaal wasn’t serious, she still had fallen in love with him.
Now, it’s Jake it wants to get her back, and they have been secretly seeing each other. Sources close to the actor say that he wants the Fifty Shades star to forgive him and wants to win her back, according to the IB Times.
“This time Jake’s not taking no for an answer. There was so much chemistry between them, when they met up, and he’s now arranged a romantic dinner for them in New York.”
Meanwhile, Dakota’s close friendship with Rita Ora has intrigued in the past month. The two ladies have been hanging out a lot on and off the set of Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, as seen on the official Fifty Shades of Grey Instagram account. It appears that Dakota and Rita have formed a close bond off the set, but that hasn’t stopped fans from assuming that they’re in a relationship with one another.
