6 killed in lightning in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Jun 27 (UNI) Six people, including three women, were killed and two others sustained serious burn injuries when lightning struck them in separate instances in Baloda Bazar and Narayan districts of Chhattisgarh, police said today.
Three people, including two women, died on the spot on being struck by lightning at Baloda village in Kasdol area of Baloda Bazar district yesterday, while another woman died due to lightning in Sukli village of the district. The deceased were identified as Pili Patel, Yamuna Patel, Satyaram Patel and Sanbai.
In Narayanpur district, Veer Sayak of Garbeda village and Bodiya Ram, a resident of Garanji, were fatally struck by lightning, while two others were admitted to hospital in serious condition.
