Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jun 27 2016 4:52PM TITA to visit USA to promote digital village initiative 'Digithon'Hyderabad, Jun 27 (UNI) Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) delegation led by its President Sundeep Kumar Makthala will visit USA to promote their flagship programme digital village initiative ‘Digithon’ from July one to nine. Digithon is designed as per National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM). After starting this programme on December 17,2015, TITA adopted Basar village in Adilabad district and made it a 100 per cent digital literate village in Telangana. Later, the IT association adopted Narsingapur, Nizamabad district and Chatuppal , Nalgonda district to make digital villages and completed the digital program successfully. These historic events brought highest accolades to Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) from Union Minister of Communications and Information Technology of India Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad. He tweeted appreciating TITA on the ‘Digithon Digital Village’ initiative as unique in India.
