RBI sets rupee reference rate at 67.90 against US dollar
According to an RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 90.9113 and 66.69 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India on Monday fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 67.9000 against the US dollar and 74.8801 for the euro.
These rates were 68.0144 and 75.1015 respectively, last Friday.
According to an RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 90.9113 and 66.69 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate, the statement added.
These rates were 68.0144 and 75.1015 respectively, last Friday.
