Writer-director Vibhu Puri, known for penning the scripts for Guzaarish and Saawariya, is writing two romantic films.
“I am working on a story [that] is about human relationships. It’s a love story, a mature love story. There is also another story about physically disabled lovers,” Puri said.
For the mature love story, the Hawaizaada director has taken references from real life. “The story is semi-fictional as it is based on real-life experiences,” he said.
With a lot of romantic films made in Bollywood every year, the challenge for Puri is make his story stand out.
“Both the stories are different. Both are intense, passionate love stories. We are working on both the films simultaneously, let’s see which one happens first,” he said.
The makers are in the process of casting actors for both the films. If all goes well, Puri will direct either of the two films by the end of this year.
