The Macleay Valley Mustangs Ladies league tag side won their second game of the season on Sunday while the under 18 1/2 grade side continued to decimate their competition. Unfortunately the reserve grade lost in a tight one 28-24 but their season is still very much alive.

The ladies got things underway with a morale boosting 10-4 win over the Port Macquarie Sharks.
The victory was the girls second in a row.
The under 18 ½ grade side, rated by first-grade coach Sam Howe as the most talented young side he has seen at the Mustangs in 10 years, completely dismantled the third placed Sharks 38-6.
It would be an incredible achievement to go through the home and away season undefeated but with 7 games to go it is hard to see them losing.
But isn’t that is the beauty of sport, you don’t know the result until the game is played.
