1,000 students take part in session on meditation

Students of Narayana Boys Junior College at Gudavalli on Sunday experienced meditation as they took part in the Heartfulness Guided Relaxation and Meditation sessions organised by Heartfulness Institute, Vijayawada.

In the three-day session on the college premises, around 1,000 students took part and are pleased to have the experience of meditation, according to the Institute co-ordinator K.V. Subba Rao.

Mr. Subba Rao explained students the importance and need for meditation for students who undergo tremendous pressure as they chase dreams of career.

He said that Heartfulness meditation helps students reduce tension and mental pressure and also to improve memory, grasping power, stamina, self-confidence besides improving overall health condition.

College dean D.Phani Kumar and principal Srinivas Rao and others were present at the sessions.
