Gold seized

Customs officials seized about 800 grams of gold from a passenger at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Sunday. According to sources, the passenger, who arrived from the UAE, had hidden the gold ornaments in a bag. The ornaments were seized by the officials, who found out that he had not disclosed the same to them during a check.

7 houses burgled

Property worth more than Rs.10 lakhs was stolen when burglars broke unto seven different houses at the Kukatpally Housing Board Colony on Saturday night.
