Little Flower sails into final of U-14 Cricket Tourney

JAMMU, June 26: Little Flower School, Akhnoor sailed into final of Under-14 Cricket Tourney by defeating Akhnoor Warriors by 10 wickets in a one sided match.
Little Flower School Akhnoor, won the toss and invited Akhnoor warriors to bat first. Batting first, Akhnoor warriors could score only 42 runs for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 12 overs. Praful Takaya and Raghav scored nine runs each for the team.
For Little Flower School, Nitish and Stifen took 2 wickets each while David Harsh claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, Little Flower easily chased the target in 3.1 overs without losing any wicket and won the match by 10 wickets. Thus, Little Flower entered into final of tournament. David Harsh scored valuable 28 runs for the team in just 11 balls while Shivansh also contributed 10 runs.
David Harsh was declared as Man of the Match for his spectacular performance with bat.
The matches were officiated by Goutam Mangotra and Raman Sharma as Umpires while Vinod Mangotra acted as scorer. The tournament is being organized by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor and AYC Akhnoor under the overall supervision of Sham Singh Langeh, president, Singh Cricket Club, Akhnoor.
