An unbeaten half century from Rameez Shahzaad guided Alubond Tigers to the title after a seven-wicket victory against Red Flowers Tourism in the 8th Al Dhaid Ramadan Cup 2016.
Put in to bat first, Red Flower Tourism opener made a positive start with opener Waqas Raja scoring a quick 19 runs but was unlucky to be run out.
 Yassir Kaleem and Ubadah Barmawar (51) stayed firm in the middle order with the latter scoring an important half century, while the former was out on 31.
 Vipin Venu (18) and Anfal PM (10) made significant contributions as Red Flower Tourism posted 169 for eight in 20 overs.
 For the Alubond Tigers, Amjad Javed, Sultan Ahmed and Umair Ali scalped two wickets each. Alubond Tigers were in early trouble when two wickets fell in quick succession but Shahid Sadiquee battled hard to keep the chase on road as he hammered a fine 45 consisting of two boundaries and five sixes.
 Rameez Shahzaad and Amjad Gul ensured there was no further damage with the duo sharing an unbroken 166-run partnership for the fourth wicket as Alubond Tigers achieved the target in the final over.
 Rameez Shahzaad was the star performer as he blasted seven sixes and a boundary to reach an impressive 86 not out while Amjad Gul remained unbeaten on 23 consisting of a four and two sixes.
