JCB machine enters shop, leaves 2 hurt

MUSSOORIE: The driver of a JCB machine lost control over the vehicle and it entered two shops at Barlowganj in Mussoorie today, injuring a child seriously.

The driver of a JCB machine lost control over the vehicle and it entered two shops at Barlowganj in Mussoorie today, injuring a child seriously.

A Nepalese labourer sitting on the JCB was also injured in the accident and the two shops were severely damaged.

The JCB machine was heading towards Dehradun when the accident occurred. Aditya Bhandari (10), son of Ramesh Bhandari, was injured in the accident. The injured child was taken to Max Hospital in Dehradun in a private vehicle while the injured Nepalese labourer was sent to Government St Mary’s Hospital in here. Both are undergoing treatment and are reported to be out of danger.—TNS
