Ecstatic: Fawad sweeps Deepika off her feet at IIFA

Pakistani heartthrob went down on his knees, sang ‘Roop Tera Mastana’ for her

On Friday night, Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan hosted a special segment of the IIFA Awards taking place in Madrid this year. And as with everything else that he does, he set the stage on fire. The highlight of the night was the super romantic interaction between Fawad and the reigning queen of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone.

Fawad was challenged by Karan Johar to woo Deepika and, as we know, the Kapoor & Sons actor is not one to back down. He read out a few lines from the immensely popular Hindi song, Roop Tera Mastana, for Deepika who looked deadly in a black Swapnil Shinde gown. “This is my ticket to Hollywood,” he said jokingly, before looking right into Deepika’s eyes and going down on his knees, creating a magical moment for all the fans out there. According to pictures shared on social media, not only did Fawad go down on his knees, but Deepika too, went down on her knees for the Khoobsurat actor.

As the ceremony progressed, Fawad also took to stage to sing the theme song of Kal Ho Na Ho for Deepika. While fans have fallen in love with the Deepika and Fawad ‘jodi’, they are definitely anticipating a film starring both actors.
