Lalu attacks PM for non-inclusion of India in NSG

Patna, Jun 26 (UNI) RJD chief Lalu Prasad today fired a fresh salvo at the Narendra Modi government, saying that China`s objection to grant Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) membership to India exposed chinks in the Centre`s foreign policy.
Without making any direct reference to the issue of India`s non-inclusion in the NSG, Mr Prasad tweeted, "Foreign policy does not get strengthened by enjoying ride of a swing or making somebody happy with a ride on a swing. The Prime Minister is more interested in his self-publicity by leaving aside the country`s foreign policy." Jhulo me jhulne aur jhulane se videsh niti majboot nahin hoti. PMVidesh Niti chhod swayam ka prachar-niti mein jyada interested hain,"he tweeted while obliquely referring to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Mr Modi riding a swing during former`s visit to India in 2014.
Sharpening his attack on the Prime Minister, Mr Prasad further tweeted,"Foreign policy is altogether a different, vast and serious subject. It doesn't require chanting individual's slogans or sponsored publicevents."
