Ambassador James Warlick, the US Co-Chair of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s (OSCE) Minsk Group, announced about the Karabakh conflict’s comprehensive solution, not phased, as the Azerbaijani side attempts to present, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) National Assembly member Vardges Baghryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The MP noted that the territories around Karabakh are specified under the NKR Constitution.

“No territory can be given just like that,” said Baghryan. “The top priority is the matter of the status of Nagorno-Karabakh. The conflict can’t be solved unless Karabakh’s status issue becomes a cornerstone.

“Azerbaijan keeps talking about [its ‘occupied’] territories, but at this moment, the Armenian territories of the Martakert and Martuni region [of Artsakh] are under the control of Azerbaijan.”
