MLS round-up: FC Dallas beat Real Salt Lake

FC Dallas moved to within a point of the MLS lead after a 2-0 victory over Real Salt Lake.

Kellyn Acosta and Fabian Castillo got the goals as Dallas closed the gap on the Colorado Rapids at the top of the standings.

Frank Lampard scored his second goal in as many games to help New York City FC to a 2-0 win over the Seattle Sounders.

Lampard chested home R.J. Allen's cross to give NYCFC the lead just before the break and Ronald Matarrita wrapped it up three minutes from time.

Lamar Neagle and Sean Franklin got the goals to earn DC United a 2-0 triumph over the New England Revolution and Ola Kamara's stoppage-time equaliser saw the Columbus Crew claim a 1-1 draw with New York Red Bulls.
