Hyderabad: Cable operators and corporates like Airtel, Reliance, Idea, BSNL have been given a week to come up with proposals to take up underground cabling. Hyderabad Mayor B. Rammohan said overhanging cables belonging to various agencies were tied to GHMC and electricity poles, without taking permission from the department concerned.
GHMC commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy has suggested to all company representatives to study various methods which are adopted by other municipal corporations and submit proposals.
