Collector Sajjansingh R. Chavan inspected the upgraded Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Kuttaikuzhi in Thiruvattar Panchayat Union on Thursday.
Mr. Chavan went around the in-patient and OP wards, laboratory, scan room, post-operative ward and inspected various registers at the PHC.
He also enquired with the patients admitted with viral fever about the treatment given to them.
The Collector advised the hospital management to inform the district administration about abnormal admission of patients affected with fever during monsoon.
After the inspection, he gave instructions to the doctors to prepare Nilavembu Kashayam in the presence of general public and distribute it at all the PHCs, KGMCH and Kuzhithurai Government Hospital.
M. Madhusoodhanan, Deputy Director of Health accompanied the Collector during inspection.
