India’s top billiards player Pankaj Advani became the most recent victim of internet trolls when he believed a fake social media update involving Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Trusting one of the numerous fake messages that circulate that web, Advani congratulated Modi for being declared as the best PM in the World. He said, “Congratulations @narendramodi sir for being declared the best PM in the world by @UNESCO #ProudIndian @PMOIndia”.

Later, realising the ‘news’ he had read wasn’t correct, he tried to make amends – but not before throwing in a tongue-in-cheek message for those who had a go at him.
I know I got my facts wrong but this apparently gets more attention than when I win a WORLD TITLE!! 🙄🙄 🙏🏻 https://t.co/vWeBwdeuaO
