Xiaomi is all set to release the Xiaomi Mi Max in India on June 30, more than a month after it was released in China. The company is yet to reveal the Indian pricing of the handset but it is very likely to compete with several mid-range devices, including the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016).

The Galaxy J7 (2016) is priced at Rs. 15,990 in India, while the Xiaomi Mi Max comes with a price tag of 1499 Yuan (around $230 / Rs. 15,300) for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650, 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM variant, 1699 Yuan (around $260 / Rs. 17,400) for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652, 64GB internal memory and 3GB RAM model, and 1999 Yuan (around $308 / Rs. 20,400) for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652, a 128GB inbuilt memory and 4GB RAM variant.

The Xiaomi Mi Max is very likely to be priced between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000 in India, which means it will have to take on the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016). But which device will you buy if given a choice? Here is the specifications comparison of the handsets to help you buy one that suits you:
