After the first monsoon showers that had lashed the industrial city on Wednesday, the Met department of CSA University has predicted heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning on June 26.

Kanpur: After the first monsoon showers that had lashed the industrial city on Wednesday, the Met department of CSA University has predicted heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning on June 26. It has also predicted scattered rainfall in the city and the central parts of Uttar Pradesh on June 24 and 25.
Meanwhile, after Wednesday's 81 mm rainfall, weather has become unpleasant due to increase in humidity level.
The day temperature, which had dropped to 27.2 degree Celsius after Wednesday's rainfall, has increased again and was recorded at 34 degree Celsius on Friday. The increase of temperature by 6.8 degree has made the weather sultry on Friday. A similar pattern of temperature was recorded in night when mercury reached 26.7 degree Celsius on Thursdaynight. It was 4.5 degrees more than the Tuesday's night temperature. The humidity level oscillated between 82% and 63% on Friday.
Anirudh Dubey, Met expert of CSA University said that though humidity level has increased and weather has turned unpleasant but heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely to hit the city on after Saturday.
