Ahmedabad: In a tragic incident on Friday morning at Kundanvas in Isanpur, a one-and-a-half-year-old boy, Yuvraj Makwana, was crushed under his own uncle's rickshaw.
However, even as the family were under shock, Isanpur cops and traffic police allegedly argued about jurisdiction to register a case, while the toddlers' body lay at LG hospital for about three hours.

A social worker, Harshad Patel, said that only after intervention of senior police officials did traffic police register a case of accidental death. The body was then taken to the Civil Hospital for a postmortem in the evening.
According to police sources, Shailesh Makwana, an autorickshaw driver used to take his toddler nephew Yuvraj for a ride in the auto before going to work.
"On Friday morning, Makwana took the little boy for a ride. When they returned, Yuvraj who was in the back seat, suddenly got off from the auto. Makwana did not know that and put the vehicle in reverse, accidentally crushing the little boy," said a police official.
The family rushed the boy to LG Hospital but he was declared dead by doctors. "As hospital authorities told police control room about the incident, both Isanpur and traffic police reached the hospital but fought over whose jurisdiction it was, leaving the family in shock," added a police official.
