In an attempt to end hatred between India and Pakistan, Dhaval Gori, a Dombivli youth, along with his two friends, started a peace ride earlier this month.

For this project, the trio — Gori, Bhavesh Hagwane and Arun Bhat — quit their jobs and decide to travel within the country and across the border to record reactions of the people. The initiative that aims at bringing both the countries closer, got off to a good start as Gori, who posed as a Pakistani in New Delhi, managed to get several free hugs.

At Connaught Place, Gori stood with a placard that read: "I am from Pakistan and I love India as much as you do. Can i get free hugs?" The reaction that was being recorded on camera was overwhelming. "In the beginning people were a little hesitant, but later they came forward and gave hugs. Some even clicked selfies with me," said Gori.

This is one of the many videos the trio intends to shoot for their documentary during their ride for peace. These videos are like messages for people on both sides of the border. The questions they will ask Indians include What they think about Pakistan? In case of a negative answer they would ask What do they think about Pakistani locals who are like us, troubled? They will also list down few male and female common name in Pakistan and India.

The documentary will be posted on their youtube channel every week once the trio come back to India next year. To undertake this peace ride, the trio had applied for crowd funding on Wishberry.com.
