Lightning kills two more in Panchmahal

Vadodara: Two men were killed and a woman injured when lightning struck in Mora village of Morva Hadaf taluka in Panchmahal district on Friday evening. Livestock was also killed in the district due to lightening.
According to sources, the victims were sitting near their houses even as it was raining. Lightning struck at around 5.30pm, killing Balwant Shankar Khant and Vijay Raman Munda.Vijay's mother Chanchi Munda was also injured and is under treatment at the Mora primary health centre.
At Mora, two goats were also killed due to lightning while two buffaloes died in in Khanpur village near by.
This is the second incident of its kind within 24 hours in the district. On Thursday evening, two brothers were killed when lightning struck at the Malav village in Kalol taluka the district.
They were fixing the roof of their home when the incident took place. A buffalo was injured in the incident.
